Cargo Plane Water Overrun

On 20 October 2025 a Boeing 747‑400F freighter operating Emirates SkyCargo flight EK9788 from Dubai to Hong Kong overran runway 07L at Hong Kong International Airport during landing. The aircraft left the runway, struck a security vehicle and continued into the sea. The four‑member crew escaped with injuries, while two airport workers in the ground vehicle were fatally injured.
